Hi guys, another new GM10 owner here. Tks for lgstian for the tips on tweaks, just got it rooted. What do you guys use for video playback ? Tried a few players, they install but don't play. QQ can play mkv but a bit choppy, any help appreciated. Does anyone know if the dialer process can be killed ? Im guessing its phone related and that wouldnt be needed for this ?

I stated in the thread that you can remove the phone processes. It will give you a speed increase and some extra battery life but some apps that need those functions will not work. For video use swapper, having swapp on greatly increases playback quality.

I just purchased one of these, but it's this one from China. wholesale 7" Android 2.2 MID with WiFi, GPS, Android 2.2 tablet pc
Price was under 200 USD delivered...still waiting for it. Can't wait to fiddle with it. I'll be referencing this thread often to see what I can do with it as well.

There is a new update for the tablet. It fixes the volume key isue, adds suport for a few more usb 3g modem and what they say to be flash suport. My tablet is still in service so I didn't get to test it. I will provide a link soon.

Here you go folks a link to the update.
It fixes the volume button and camera isues.
Also yes it does come with flash suport. Dough it's only flash lite. Atleast it's something.

Sygic works well with this device. Igo will not run as it does not support this resolution.

My tablet just arived now from service. They sent me a new one. I have to chardge it and upgrade to the new firmware. After I test it I'll let you folks know.
