coby 7015 or 7024? please help....

hi, my name is andre, and i'm from brazil.

i have a question, wich one i pick up, the kyros 7015 or the 7024? i know that the 7024 is more powerful, has android 2.2, but the 7015 has more firmwares updates, and this is my big question:

the apps and games that run in 7015 will run on the 7024 with no lags, or will run better? the difference of processor and memory compensate?

thanks

ah, the prices of the tablets:
7015, $130
7024, $170

the difference of the price compensate the upper hardware?

Yes the 7015 is a little worse than the 7024 stock. With upgrades, it can be better. If you install tipstir's Honeycomb ROM, it will make the tablet a little faster and better. I can play angry birds with no problem at all. Also, there is a 2.3 gingerbread update for the 7015, (which i do not recommend for ppl that dont kno what their doing). It runs android 2.3. The 7024 is not very customizable beyond android 2.2. I do not think there is clockworkmod (i may be wrong i do not kno). And i do not think there are any custom ROMS.

It is really your choice, the 7015 is about $50 cheaper than the 7024. I have the 7015, and love it. I have tipstir's Honeycomb ROM, and love it. Runs smooth and good.
Personally I prefer the 7015.

I say go for the 7015 save that $40 bucks. You can turn it into HoneyComb Hybrid which is from me or you can upgrade it to Android OS 2.3.1 GingerBread add Flash any media streaming and your set. Sure the GingerBread is new for this tablet but we have many using and working on it. Still it does work. Soon it will have HoneyComb Hybrid for it. The 7024 is newer not made by the same company as there next model offers more than the 7024 does. What type of tablets brands are available in Brazil?

I had a 7015 and it was ok I rooted it and it was a good tablet, with the new 3.0 tablets save your cash and upgrade

coby isn't available in brazil, here just have ipad, samsung and motorola xoom. i will buy coby in exterior... sorry my english... my fear that the 7024 isn't customizable like 7015, but i think that the 7024 will take longer to die because his hardware specs, like 1ghz processor and 512mb memory. am i wrong?

Known Clone Variations of COBY KYROS MID7015 | 7015A

Optimist Gpad 701
Gosund Gpad 701
Emdoor EM71
Lonpad D7 GPAD
Telepad 7 TPAD
Herotab G701

If you see any of the above they're all the made the same. The first two are good choice. If you can get Gpad702 that has CTS vs RTS and offers double the RAM. Right now all the apps for the Tablet are base on Java and it's quick. No your not wrong to want that but if you like the the style of the 7015 then those listed above have 1GHz and 512MB of RAM and some have 4GB and to 16GB for the NAND internal memory for storage. If you see any of the above in your country would be interesting to see how the South America Tablet Market is?

I have to use another system to root the tablet. Once that done I going to re-programmed it first. Using V13.5 B20 method really moves now that's better for games like RIO stuff like that uses clean memory. I know I haven't release that might soon. Graphic update for that too. Just have to get around to it though.

guys, i decided to pick up the 7015. more firmwares updates than the 7024, fixing bugs...

I agree with driggs, And if you have any troubles, we should all be able to help you. I have not paid attention to the support com the other forum for the 7024, but I kno that the support for the 7015 is good. I get most of my questions answered in a day or two.

thank you guys... one last question is, i will pickup the tablet this week, and want to pickup and install the honeycomp b20, is this firmware good? other, it says that i have to just stay with honeycomb b17, i don`t understand it so much... i will pick my 7015 original, and which firmware i put first? and then? an then? where i can find this firmware that is need?

You can get the HC B20. You first need to root, install clockworkmod, then backup, and install the ROM.
B20 is amazing, it works great, and fixes some bugs. Go to the HC sticky, and make an account with the website it directs you to. It is tipstir's site. Good to have an account with them. I personally recommend the HC Full B20 standard or HD depending what you will do with your tablet. I use the standard and it rocks! Follow directions on the site and have fun!

The 7015 is a great device.
Actually the 2.3 IMG isnt hard to install. Just follow the directions
