@traveller1701. First i want to thank you for your help and detail description. I was able to root, backup and install google play store on my coby 7042. I was able to install apps from market. however there is some application that does not allow me to be installed such as "fruit ninja free" it states that it is not suported by the device ?? i was able to install it using a different app store such as Good e-reader. but when i execute the apps , i get a licencing issue.
anyway i read that there is a way to make the coby 7042 thinks that is a galaxy tablet. is this what is missing? how can i modify it so i do not have this restriction issue in google play store
