The rooting part of the script did not work for me on the 7036-4 , but after rooting with the script on the sticky thread (mempodroid) , the install-gapps was very easy. Thanks, jjjacer !

i got this for my daughter for christmas, saw it has some generic app downloading program, its android 4.0 yet cant even get facebook. anyway, ive installed all the sdk tools, and everything else, and this is what i get

what am i missing? ive rooted every android phone i have ever owned and rooted many of my friends phones with success...

I fixed the script and now you can just run it as it should be run. This has been tested on an MID7034 and is working.

If you see rm errors on gapps it still installs fine. I don't have a linux vm setup to make the changes to the install-gapps script necessary to remove the errors. The eroors can just be ignored though and gapps should be installed and working just fine on any MID7034 device!
