coby kyros mid 9742 "unable to connect to wifi"

hi guys! im a new in the world of tablets... please help me with this one... my coby kyros mid 9742 cannot connect to my wireless router anymore... at first its all good and fast but the other day it just disconnected and warns "avoided poor connection" when the signal strength indicator is full... it seems to have a hard time obtaining the IP address... please help...

Try restarting your router, then go to the connection on your tablet and tap it, tell it to forget, and try connecting again. I have additional WiFi connection problem tips in a link below.
