Colby Kyros MID7120 - How do I add flash?

Yeah, it looks like it has the same processor as the 7012? That means it can't do flash at the moment right? That's too bad. You think the guru's are working on cracking this nut lfom? I hope so for all the owners out there not having flash might be a deal breaker for some of them.

Its sad cause I really wanted to give this as a gift to my niece so she could watch her little dora videos, but however since it doesn't support or unable to install the flash player, I'm afraid it will be toss away. Just to let everyone know I did install the Adobe flash player 10.1 but it would not play certain videos as it doesnt recognized the player. I would appreciated any advice or help.

Follow the instruction on rooting. Take your time: Kyros 7022 Root + Recovery - YouTube
Then download Flash 10.3 apk to your computer and put on your SD card and install: http://www.apktops.com/adobe-flash-player-10-3-186-6.html
It worked for me and should work on the 2.2 and up for Kyros Tabs.

You're using a 7022 with a Cortex A8 processor, much more porwerful than the one in 7120/7012...

On s side note, someone said that could use Flash in a low end device after installing Puffin web browser (and some version of Flash), probably it worth trying...

I can confirm that the flash installation above and the root method described in the video does NOT work for the 7120-4G.

If it works on Android 2.1 only then it won't work on 7120 because it comes 2.3...

The only way to use Flash on these tablets is using Puffing browser AFAIK, and I've wrote this in my previous reply.

There is a video on YouTube "how to install android market on coby kyros 7022" that gives you a list of downloads for coby. One of the downloads is for Flash Player ver 10.3.18. I hope this is hopeful in what you are trying to do. Good luck.
