I myself prefer Amazon although Play Store I use as well.
One thing most here didn't say is a lot of the time if Play Store has something for .99 Amazon will have it for Free.
The same version as the one one Play Store.
And I have also seen it be the other way around.
While the Versions listed on Amazon may not be as updated in print they do update to the same versions in the Amazon Update section of the Amazon Android App.
That is on Play Store.
The only difference between the two I've seen is play Store will let you know quicker that there is an update available for your installed apps then Amazon.
But the updates there you just have to go back into the Amazon App and check for updates more often then it will tell you that there are updates.
But that's not that big of a deal for me since I make it a habit to check that sort of thing once a week out of habit, Just to make sure everything is on the up and up.
