Fbreader on T301

I have been trying to install Fbreader on my T301 and at the end of the process I get a message "Application not installed". Not very informative as to why it didn't install. The Fbreader file was downloaded through Cruz Market.

Is there a fix for this?

I have Android 2.2 installed on the T301.

According to the User Guide, Fbreader not installing is a known problem. If that is the case, it is kind of odd that it is available in Cruz Market.
