Firmware update...

Ok, I bought my son a Pandigital 7" multimedia tablet and color eReader for Christmas. Learned of the firmware update...went to Pandigital.com and tried to download the update but I recieved an error message. It said to turn on the tablet and I did, then it said verifying serial number and Pandigital model number. Thats when I got the error, it said could not load file or assembly. WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF. To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value. Not sure what to do, Pandigital is experiencing high call volume so no answers there, I emailed them...no response yet! Any help is appreciated!

first make sure that you have dotnetframe works 4 install if this does not solve the issue then
Create a text file and put the below blue lines in it , then change the file extension from "txt" to "reg" then run the file and try again

Their site is down now, you can no longer update/upgrade it. But you can get one from 7 inch Black (Android 1.5) 20110301 OP FW with Market - SlateDroid.com
Yeah, its on another site, but it works and has the B+N store on it plus some extra stuff. The soft keys option just means the keys are translucent when you're not using them. Arrow key, home key, and others.
