forgotten passcode to polaroid pmid800 tablet ...HELP TO UNLOCK????

does anyone know how to unlock a forgotten passcode to this tablet ?.I called best buy but they charge $30 to reset it and it erases everything completely ,is there any other way to unlock it and reset passcode without doing this ?,even if I have to erase everything ,I just need to get my tablet unlocked.

If you WiFi had been on and connected it would have aked for your Google login. If not, the factory reset is pretty much you option.

To remove the password on your device, you need to perform a firmware update on your tablet. Please visit the below link, then select your device model number and follow the steps for performing a firmware update. You can refer to the link below for the firmware download be sure you download the one for your Polaroid model: Polaroid Tablet Support Site​
