I have the Coby 7015 tablet. Any chance of getting Google Market on it WITHOUT rooting? I like this tablet, and don't want to screw it up. I mostly use it on short trips away from home, instead of a laptop. Ideas?
Rooting is perfectly fine as long as you follow the instructions. If you follow them carefully, and don't skip any steps, then you should have successfully rooted the tablet with out screwing anything up.
I was also afraid to root as I thought I would screw something up. I have had this tablet for 3 weeks today, and I am successfully running tipstir's HC ROM with my tablet rooted and clockwork and gapps passion. I plan to move up to 2.3 gingerbread, but now sticking with HC.
Once you get past that stage, you will really appreciate the ability of rooting and possibly other ROM'S.
