I'm in the same siutation as you. I had a stock 2.1 android Superpad and the GPS DID work. But I put this 2.2 Froyo rom on and the GPS has gone AWOL. I have tried a few GPS test apps and its says GPS is on and there are approx 3 satellites found but not strong enough to get a fix.
So may thoughts are the that the 2.2 rom V5 is the focus here.
