GPS for Android Tablet with Offline Maps

Hmmm... Guess, I'll have to try navfree. (The international version, of course.) How does it compare in terms of route selection options? And, what about being able to find house numbers?

It's not that the app is questionable, but that the app is extremely buggy: in my case, to the point of being unusable. The reality is that this app is a beta being promoted as a finished product, which may lead people to wonder what other underhanded tactics the development team will implement.

Your post really sums the app up, it's a beta being represented as a finished product, the app isn't in anyway stable, or smooth nor should it be considered a finished product.

Navfree has fastest, easy, optimum and shortest as routing options. Since NavFree uses OpenStreetmap maps, its address search isn't as good as a dedicated GPS. This is because the OpenStreetmap maps do not have many addresses built into the maps. However, it will get the job done. You will have better results of course if you have a data connection on your device, since Google search is incorporated into NavFree. The Google search is far easier to use than the built-in address search.
