Has Anyone Dealt with ebellking.com?

Update, email answered

Only took 4 days to get a reply, lol

Having thought about it for a while....

I believe that the lack of response when asking for the tracking number was because there wasn't one (so I was on hold until there was)
however it does not excuse the delay in replying, nor does it excuse the contact phone number not being available, or the online chat
never being on line.

When I received the email from them saying that the item had been dispatched, what it really meant was that it was ready or getting ready for collection by the courier and not 'dispatched' as in the sense of the word as we normally use.

So the bottom line is, would I order anything from ebellking.com again

Well now I understand about their loose use of the word 'dispatched'...

Yes I would.

After a week or so I'll post my scores out of 10

Paypal has dealt with Ebellking (On my behalf)
They tell me I'm due for a full refund on my payment for the Android Flytouch 3 which I purchased just before Christmas.
I almost lost this one as I noticed that I must claim within 45 days. Just got this in on the last day and Paypal accepted it.
Thanks to Ebellking I was distracted with countless stupid emails. I suspected many of the replies were automated. In fact I just hit the key one evening - sent no message and no subject.
Back came the usual simpering reply from "Eric" telling me he would reply in 48 hours. This man talked me into returning the unsatisfactory tablet to China.
I sent it via Post Office with tracking. It arrived and according to Post Office tracking delivery was attempted. This was the last I heard from so called "Eric"
I left him to Paypal and they sorted him out. They have even hinted that they wiil attempt to retrieve my shipping costs. So - look out "Eric" you're about to have wings clippped!

Bought the 7" Android 2.3 Tablet 1080P 4GB 1 Ghz, just before Christmas and had to return it for a refund, I've been dealing with the double act 'Eric and Peter' no doubt they are one and the same, got an email from Peter, informing that, "Tablet was received. We will do the refund soon. Thank you very much. Best Regards", signed, Eric, dated 25/1/2012, multiple emails to them since, with no reply. Sadly I missed the Paypal 45 days. Watch this space!!

I am wondering if the problem is not with the battery. When these devices arrive with the factory settings they have a ten minute sleep time clicked. You need to go into 'settings', then 'about device' I think it is, and change the 'sleep' time from ten minutes to whatever you want I had the same problem till I realised and made the changes.. Try it, it could be as simple as that. Don't have the device here at the moment so cannot walk you through the process today. Good luck

The route is Settings - Display - select Sleep and you have a range of times from 15 sec to 30 minutes.

I have just received my tablet from Ebellking. Usual 3-5 day came and went dropped email to 'Alex' and he responded within 2 days - surprise surprise! I received a tracking number from PayPal but when I entered it into DHL - no trace even on the hk and international website - so contacted 'Alex' again and his reply was 'it's on it's way via RM 1st class'!! Lo and behold it arrived the next day. Still don't know were DHL comes into the picture? I did speak to a very helpful agent at PayPal as I had a concern about their claims to have an address in the UK and a warehouse?? Tablet is the Zenithink ZT280 C90 running ICS - OK for the price but limited market for apps, and I still can't get the USB to work both into the PC and from a stick?

April 10th - have got the USB to work using an app from google 'USB mass storage watcher' once this was running I'm using 'File Broswer' and it shows up as USB sda1 but using ES File explorer it won't show! I've also got bluetooth to work with my old Trust BT2000 dongle and using another app 'Bluetooth File Transfer' again from google apps.

I ordered an Ebellking 7" Android 2.3 Tablet 1080P 4GB 1Ghz CPU just over a week ago for my granddaughter- despite misgivings when I noticed no contact telephone number on their website; and the free delivery.
The unit arrived yesterday via DHL direct from Hong Kong- fully discharged ( a bad sign ) and , after taking several hours to fully charge, I familiarised myself with it...
The touch screen was poor but I initially put that down to myself (I don't like them and don't use them). I set the time correctly and then the Wi Fi connection- which established but would not 'hold.' Consequently I could not browse.
After only 30 minutes, the unit froze and the screen went blank. I did not initially suspect the battery but, after reading the tiny manual( poorly put together with 90% black photocopied diagrams), I switched the unit off (hold in power button for 7 seconds). After 4 or 5 abortive attempts to reboot it, I put it back on charge- it took another 3 hours plus to recharge.
I then sent two E-Mails to Ebellking, advising them of my problems and then informing them that the unit was faulty and would not operate after a full repeat recharge- merely an "android" sign on the display screen. This morning I received two replies (one to each E-mail) from Peter <info@ebellking.com> and signed by a girl called Cathy. Both E-Mails suggested reset/recharge.
I sent another E-Mail demanding the unit be collected and a full refund issued, but I then just got a stock reply.." We will respond within 48 hours."
Comments:
1.The battery is obviously a low ampere hour ( probably about1200 A/h ) and you would be spending all your time recharging it, even if the tablet were OK.
2. I only read other persons' comments on this forum after the unit arrived.
3. As far as I am concerned, the unit is junk and I partly blame myself for ordering it, although I'm not heartbroken at losing £69.00.
4. I will not waste much more time on this, and will not accept a replacement tablet, if offered. If necessary, I shall report the whole thing to Trading Standards, although this organisation does not inspire me- I once bought an HP Compaq computer from Curry's website, only to be told it was 'out of stock.' I was then told by a Curry's buyer that they had never that model in stock anywhere in the UK, after noticing that no Curry's UK branch had availability. It was obviously a marketing ploy to get people on their website/into their shops and, although I supplied the direct mail leaflet and pointed to the TV advertising for the particular model, Trading Standards did absolutely nothing! So beware of them!
5. Since giving up on this faulty tablet, I have tried to source an alternative unit for my granddaughter, but those priced economically seem to be all Chinese- and that now puts me off.
If anyone can safely recommend a tablet/supplier (up to £100 plus in price), then I should be grateful.
Kind regards, John.
PS. Ebellkings 18 Five Star reviews are obviously a concocted ploy.

Update..

The Zenithink ZT-280 C91 arrived very quickly once the "dispatched" item had been collected by DHL

After a week or so of testing it still works fine, so I'm a very happy bunny

ICS is not the fastest OS so I may (if I can be bothered) try Gingerbread 2.3.4, but thats nothing to do with ebellking

Ebellking is a Scam company. Their so called Tablets are total crap and they never deal with your enquiries or replace defective products. They pretend to be polite and send back an automated message that says they will get back to you within 48 hours but you will not hear from them even in 48 days. Forget their fake Tablets - Paladin Novo 7 and the Zenith. The Manual that came with the Paladin Tablet was in Chinese. There was no guarantee and no customer service to deal with. You dont even have anyone to complain to because you will only get an automated e-mail reply that says 48 hours. But they never respond. They have made money off un suspecting buyers and just dont join the list.

Hello im new to this site and ordered my first tablet a couple of days ago. I ordered this tablet (Ainol NOVO7 paladin) from ebelking.com. I thought the website looked legit and that it would be safer then Ebay. But the thing is, I have read some threads on this site about the website and people have discussed it to be pretty sketchy. I sent him an email asking if he is selling me the excact product his website stated it to be and he said yes and that all the products his company sell are now brand new and have been checked for faults. But i'm still a bit anxious because of the complaints about the website on here and on Ebellking's Amazon acc. I know Ebellking were a bit of a mess at the start of the year, but does anyone know if they have improved their services or are they still trouble? Any information would help alot!
Many thanks,Boss.

Ordered my Tablet and it took 6 days to arrive from Hong Kong. DHL tracking worked fine and it arrived safely even if the box was a little damaged. Plugged it in and charged it for a few hours and all works fine. Have to say that so far I am very pleased with EBELLKING and my shiny new tablet. I will keep using it for a few days and will let you know if I have any problems.
