Ordered a 10.1" Flytouch VI
Android 2.3/Cortex A8/1GHz/512M/8GB Tablet
costing £98 from eBellking on 27/12/2011 and it arrived on 3/1/2012. Put it on charge since battery was flat but to no avail - battery did not hold charge. After several emails with stock '48 hours' response they instructed me to return unit to a UK address costing £9.04 and send tracking number to receive replacement. Sent it on 10/1/2012 by post office special delivery and emailed tracking slip. After several emails finally got a reply on 12/2/2012 apologising for delay due to chinese new year and offering refund. That was a month ago and I'm still waiting....

PS. Sending the item to the UK address invalidated my claim through PayPal and DHL are pursuing import duty.

Thats a fair shout from what ive heard to be honest. They sound pretty genuine when I email them but ill wait it out:)

Ebellking- AVOID. Judging by my own experience and those of others on this forum if you want goods that are exactly as described and good customer service forget it.
I'm still waiting a replacement/refund from this crowd for my wife's tablet which arrived damaged before Christmas. I unwittingly returned it to the Surrey address (a drop box if nothing else) and it was duly 'lost' until I provided proof of delivery and then was told a replacement was on its way from Hong Kong but given no date. Despite numerous attempts to contact them they have stopped replying so in effect I've lost my money and goods. Raising an individual complaint case through PayPal for this type of scenario is useless - more so if 45 days have elapsed since the transaction. I would however urge people who have suffered at the hands of this mob to raise a complaint anyway through PayPal who will take notice if a high enough number of complaints are registered.

Give you my experiences of them.
I ordered a Zepad C91 from them (their price seemed too good to be true - turned out it was). I then searched the web for more info. I found this forum and was worried when I saw some of the comments. However after 5 days I got the standard "item posted" email from them so assumed all was ok with my purchase. However it was a further 5 days later before I got a DHL tracking number - so I thought "great, its on the way". But no, 24 hours later I checked on DHL site and the item had been returned to EBELLKING. Nothing further happened for 3 days, so I raised a non-delivery dispute thru Payapl. Lo and behold later that same day, I got "item posted" email, but no tracking number. 3 days later finally got tracking number - which didn't appear on DHL site. I tried for a further 2-3 days and finally appeared on DHL tracking site. DHL got the item to me 4 days later. I thought - great finally its arrived. However I was very disappointed in the quality and build - not any where near as good quality and performace as more expensive tabs (angry birds was actually running in slo-mo), but I thought - hey you get what you pay for. I kept the tab for 2 days and then thought it seemed Ok, so closed the dispute with Paypal (somewhat apprehensively). Unbelievably, the very next day the tab stopped working. Same problem as others on other forums reported with this TAB - the screen goes blank and doesnt work, even tho power is on. Tried a number of things, press re-set button, fully charge, power on and off etc - finally screen worked again (for 10 mins), and then went black. I tried all the stuff again and finally got it working again, so I did a factory reset to remove all my personal data (email addresses, google accounts etc). Managed to get that sorted and screen went blank again. So decided to send it back as faulty and claim a refund. Contacted EBELLKING who offered a replacement (with upgrade), which I declined - I wanted my money back, so asked for their return address. I took photos before I packed it, so I could prove it wasn't broken externally, and sent it recorded delivery to the Surrey address (which turns out to be a MAILBOX DROP). I advised them the item was returned and they replied that I would be refunded in 2 days. A week later and still no refund, so emailed again threatening that I would contact my bank to chase them for default. I got a refund that day. I thought - excellent! Result!, but no - they actually refunded me £15 less than I paid for the tab!!. I emailed them again twice to ask for the rest of my refund, and got no reply, so I raised a claim thru Paypal for an invalid transaction against my account - giving Paypal full details of the whole case, and within 3 hours Paypal decided in my favour I got back my missing £15 - so I have all my money back (except unfortunately the cost of me shipping the faulty tab to Surrey). Would I use them again - not a chance. Would I recommend them - not a chance. I then decided to that if you want a good product you have to pay for it, so I bought a Motorola Xoom from Argos (Argos are doing a great deal in March on Xoom V1 models) - so I shelleld out more dosh than I planned - but the difference is incredible -the Xoom is excellent - faster than all the laptops in my house!! I Also wanted to let some poeple know - that I also contacted my credit card company before raising the claim thru Payapl, and thay advised me that under UK distance selling regs, you are fully covered/insured for any internet purchases, no matter where they ship from - so it you have any problems getting refunds etc - contact your credit card company and get them to raise a disputed transaction (I know from previous experiences that the Credit Card companies decide generally in favour of the individual with regards to dodgy disputes -as it's the seller's responsibility to supply goods and services to meet their claims, or they are liable for recourse).

kmwbcts001 - wanted to update you on my dodgy transaction with them. I also had a faulty item - they offered a replacement and I decliend. Wanted a refund, so sent off TAB. Chased them for a refund and threatened contacting my bank. Got a refund after a week (less £15), so I raised a claim thru Paypal, who decided in my favour and I got back all my money (excpet postage for returning tab) within 3 hours of raising Paypal claim. - I also contacted my credit card provider (just in case Paypal didn't help), and they said I was fully covered/insured - and there was NO time limit for them to get my money back. (I posted the full story on another thread on thsi forum - search for EBELLKING). So try contacting your credit card company (hopefully thats how you paid for it).

Harsh bro. I read up on the site just after I oredered my tab and was very worried about my order. But luckily, my tablet came brand new and working perfectly and just as described on the site. As someone said, your eather lucky or very unlucky when it comes fr ebellking, fortunatly, I was lucky. But atleast you gpt your money back now and I hope the next tab you order comes in great condition mate. All the best, Boss.

I have ordered a budget tablet from this website that I came across: Cheap Android Tablet, Cheap Android Phone, Cheap Car dvd Player. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them as there is no information about them online. The only mention of them online is their eBay store (which is currently empty).

I'm pretty wary, perhaps slightly too late, but I sort of bought it on a whim without considering the retailer. I know that they are based in China, that doesn't bother me so much, but their website and emails are full of typos.

Any information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

"Do not go near this company they are a bunch of charlatans, my Zenipad will not charge, they will not answer emails, they do not honour there warranty.

Do your self a favour, stay well clear, spend a bit more and get a named pad, at least you will have some sort of warranty."

I've just paid £179 for an Onda Vi40. I honestly thought it was a UK site, it was only when I seen the Chinese name on the paypal receipt I got suspicous. Am I going to get hit with a load of import tax and duty??

Probably not, they usually declare them as something totally different and way cheaper. (Chinese suppliers in general)

I ordered a tablet pc from Ebellking as it was cheaper, and then (stupidly) looked at these forums and thought maybe I shouldn't have! However within 5 days, including a weekend and a bank holiday, my tablet was delivered safe and sound and works perfectly, and so far, seems to do everything I wanted it to. Either they have upped their game or I am just lucky!

Hopefully everything will be ok, i'm more worried about getting hit with charges - Irish customs can be a *****!! I got an email from Cathy at ebellking saying they ship through they're UK distributor - I had initially emailed them to cancel the order.

Ebellking got great service, last week Im looking for android tablet,my family IT geek thinks the Zenithink c91 spec is excellent and is going to buy one from them on Friday.Tablet received on Tuesday morning...surprised how little time it took arrive from HK.

Quite amazing how many NEW first time posters have had wonderful service from Ebelking!

the question must be asked - is the Forum being spammed with DISINFORMATION?
