I have a micro hdmi to hdmi and an hdmi to dvi cable plugged into my vtab and a computer monitor. The tablet has a notification that hdmi is plugged in but the monitor is receiving no signal. I have also tried hdmi to vga (actual circuit, not just a cable) which works fine on my android phone to the vga input of the same monitor but shows a purple screen when plugged into the vtab.
The only thing I can think of is maybe the hdmi connector is limited to hdcp compliant devices only. That, or it is just defective. Any ideas?
