I have just bought my first tablet and am very pleased with it: a Goclever TAB R106, considering the price!

I had never heard of the company but noticed that they sold a few items on Amazon.co.uk, so took a chance.
No problems so far (well there is but it's not the tablet's fault!).
They are a Polish company.
