Hope you can assist please on this frustrating problem.
This is my mothers 7" tablet she bought it on groupon or somewhere like that.
She lost her password sequence and now its locked out, logging into her gmail account from it does not work either.
The tablet only shows up in control panel as-Android Phone-Composite ADB Device, I ran a ADB device driver program-did not recognise the make only showed R708 (which I thought was a driver!)
Also the tablet does not have an external volume control button so cant reset it that way either.
I have also ran the Android multi tool program, I can reboot it using this but not much else, so I would think the tablet is not in debugging mode either.
Tried all the other ways of resetting it-no joy!
Anyway of recovering this, don't mind if all the data is lost on it just want to get it working again.
