My nook color tools doesn't look like that. And I don't see Google Services Framework
anywhere and I used titanium backup. Google services is there but no frame work.
It doesn't have to, the functions are the same. The pic above is of application manger in android 2.2; nook color tool's manager applications will look similar. And for what it's worth I was wrong about above post, google framework services is not in stock NC software (android 2.1). As revenge8 said, it's only in android 2.2 and higher.
I think I may have used option 3 but just installed the apk as any other sideloaded apk. In otherwords, just put the file on the nook and then used an application such as a file explorer to install the apk. I don't recall having to change r/w anyplace. You can always give it a try and see if it works.
So I could not get to the right place thru nook color tools manager so I downloaded the .apk and installed it!! Looks so much better! Thanks gus I'm learning! 8)
