is there a way to back up data?

I used Titanium Backup on my rooted Nook. I had to take it back to factory setup, so I rooted again and started a Restore Data & Apps from Titanium. It's been running for a couple of hours. I know it all depends on how much data & apps I backed up (around 100 apps), but does this sound normal? Are there any repurcussions if I stop it? I was going to install a ROM anyway. I wanted to get my Nook back to where it was before I screwed everything up. Had I known it was going to take this long, I would have installed the ROM before attempting to Restore Apps and Data?

I used Titanium for the first time over the weekend - to successfully recreate my SD card - as a trial run.

Took about 20 min to bring over my data and apps. Only thing that was kindof annoying was I had to ok the install for each individual app. I've only used about 2 gigs worth of data / apps though.
