Kyros MID 7024 will not start

I had my coby kyros for less than one week and it won't start! It keeps blinking android. I ordered a new android tablet, a skytex skypad alpha with android 2.3 os. I'm hoping I have better luck with it! It has some great reviews and has bluetooth and a webcam.. maybe it will be better? I hope so!

Mine is a MID 8027 and it's the same. Tried the http://www.androidtablets.net/forum...3007-project-reviving-hard-bricked-kyros.html with no luck.
here is my version of fixing dead MID7024
STATE: It wouldn't turn on. When I press the start button the softkeys light up for a few seconds, then go out. The screen never lights up. I does the same thing holding the home/back key while starting.
SOLUTION:
1. Take out external sdcard from device
2. Put it in my computer (win 7 64 bit)
3. Erase all data from it
4. Use winimage tool: from winimage menu "Disk->Restore Virtual Hard Disk image on physical drive..." select the microSD card (corresponding device), then pick file "u-boot-SD.bin.mid703v3.mm" (find that file online)
5. Eject and insert again sd card
6. Format sd card (fat 32 - don't choose quick format)
7. All files from Coby firmware put on sd card (Kyros™ Internet 7" Touchscreen Tablet | COBY) - just unpack zip
8. Put sdcard into device (MID7024)
9. Hold home button and press power few sec
10. flashing started... when finished it will turn off.. press power and voila, Coby is live again!
PS. without short-circuit the NAND
