I've got the same problem with my a2109. I've given up on it. Tried everything. I think hardware is at fault. Either ram is defective or controller is. That's the reason there were so many returns and so many remanufactured units on the market. Quick check and back on the shelf only to pass on the problem to another unsuspecting customer. No one takes responsibility. Lenovo, retailers, Amazon etc have their money. That's all they care about.

There are times when my Lenovo works great, however, more often than not, its beset with slowness. These days, I mainly use it to read and as a casual gamer. I do still try to keep the regular apps updated.
