BestBuy has a 10.1" Insignia tablet (Insignia is their store brand) running KitKat 4.4.2 on sale this week for $149 + sales tax. It has impressive specs such as a 2g CPU and a microHDMI port. The resolution is only 1200 x 800 but that still is good enough for videos and readability. I just bought 1 yesterday so I can't give an in depth product review. I bought it because it supports mirroring which enables me to display anything showing on the tablet on my Samsung Smart TV.
