For some reason I do not see, the power off/cancel screen on my Nook Tablet?

What should I do?

If you tap the on/off button, the Tablet will just go to sleep. If you hold the button in for a couple seconds you should get the power off/cancel screen. I normally just put mine to sleep so I don't have to go through the entire boot cycle when I turn it on.
