Anyone using the mcl circle battery battery mod feel like testing a battery mod I made? Now I tested it my self but I've been flashing so many mods I've been testing I just want to be more sure before I open a new thread for some battery mods.
I'm using the VRTheme to make it easier and faster for me to make battery mods and since mcl has already made the SystemUI.apk with 100% charge and discharge I can just use that.
If you want to try it just make a backup then flash from recovery after wiping cache and under advanced dalvik cache. If your not already using mcl's circle battery with percent mod then you would need to flash that first then flash this.
Its the stock battery with % I attached a shot of what it looks like.

Here is a link to the zip, I don't see any reason it shouldn't work just fine but if you try it please let me know in a pm.

Sorry for hijacking your thread but I was hoping you wouldn't mind and figured I would have better luck in here.

No problem, I'll flash it, although the circle battery mod didn't work on my phablet rom

If mine didn't work on your ROM, Linsalata28's probably won't either, as it appears to modify SystemUI.apk under the assumption that you already have 1% battery support.

This is true. The zip I posted only pushes the battery pngs into the SystemUI.apk. I didn't know that mcl's battery didn't work on your ROM.
I'm not sure why it wouldn't though since the phablet mod is only a build prop edit correct?
I could try to make one for your phablet ROM though, but don't flash it if you don't already have the circle battery mod. Iwas just trying to save time by using the circle battery as a base.

Thanks,, noticed that after I opened the zip

The phablet mod must make the system look to drawable-mdpi instead of drawable-sw720dp-mdpi. I'll look into making one for that and see if it works. That would be the only thing I can figure. Once there is one of them then the VRTheme battery mod would work.

Linsalata28,

I tested it on MCL0201, and it worked fine. May I add a link to it alongside the circle battery mod on the MCL0201 thread?

Sure you can.

Does anyone know if its possible to change the title of a thread?
I tried to change my softkeys thread title but nothing happened when I saved my changes after I edited it.
TIA for any replies.

Thats exactly what I tried. I'm not sure why the option is there if it does nothing. I notice when I go back to edit that the name I changed it to is still there though.

You can change the header below it but not the original top header, xda you can. Just start a new thread for your battery themes
