Onda V712 Cannot Download from Playstore

I received my Onda 712 today. Have been trying to download Skype, Facebook etc from Playstore
but getting error message "could not be downloaded due to an error. (-101). Need help/assistance of
how to get about downloading apps. The unit is only 1 hour old. Thanks in advance for support.

Try flashing the newest firmware 1.5.5 and if that fails, try the clearing the hosts file. That worked for me. Instructions are in the v712 firmware thread.
