Hi.
My friend ask me to install a GoogleApps in an 9742, so google gave me a link to a LiveSuite ROM. (Don't use it, COBY as lot's of changes in hardware).
I flashed with livesuite, with no backup or CMW installed (I now, I'm dumm..,). The result was: no touchscreen...
Can't recover (no backup, no clockwork).
My only solution (I saw a lot of people with the same problem), was:
- Using the only firmware that I have, I unpacked: see this post
- Mounted the system image. See this for help
- Then I used the this modules, that are in the forum. I just copy to the /vendor/modules of system image
- Repack all again, and Flashed with my custom img
And IT WORKED, now I have touch again.
NOTE:
I don't advice to use livesuite, and this is only for stupid cases like mine. ALWAYS DO A BACKUP.
This will need Native Windows, and Linux!
