Our first 7inch tablet with a SIM card slot for full 3G support has come in to us. On first impressions it seems very good. Full of features like Bluetooth, HDMI (not available on the Sanei N10 3G) and a decent processor despite it being only 1.0GHz, the tablet competes really well even before you get to the 3G.
The tablet performs very well, not really any lag or slows and come well equipped with ports and cables. So far I can find only a couple of negatives:
1) No OTG cable supplied
2) 8GB hard drive
However, you have to consider the tablet is very definitely a mobile e-reader and networking tablet device, rather than a media and games tablet. In other words any downfalls you might find with the tablet wont matter if you bought the M71G for the right reasons.
The OTG isnt essential as it has a SIM card slot and when you have internet anywhere you go you dont need to be storing all your data directly to the tablet, so good compromises by Aoson in view of keeping the price to a minimum.
The screen also really impressed us, reminiscent of the Pipo Smart S1 or Cube U9GT4, very clear and perfectly adequate for a 7inch. The tablet was compatible with more apps than any other that we have tested from the box as well, even Viber is working for making calls.
Its one of the best tablets for mobile connectivity and staying in touch, a good example of a manufacturer acutely meeting a brief.
