i am using a novo 7 elf 2 tablet. i was having too much trouble with the stock rom specially with the wifi. it used to lose connection. so i decided to install a custon rom. i installed light elf 2. believe me i have never experienced anything like it before on ny tablet. had a little wifi drop issue but was finely fixed with the app wififixerfree from the android market. everything else was perfect. another problem just showed up lastday when i connected my device with my laptop.when i turned the usb storage on it showed both of my removable disk(internal and extrrnal). when i tried to remove the device from the computer u cudnt find any way as there was no option to remove itfrom the pc. obly eject was available.i can only eject it from the conputer but there was no safe to remove android device available. android device was showing very dim on the removale device zone as it was not able to be clicked.so had to turn off the usb mass storage device from my tablet forcefully.after thatwhen i turn on ny tablet it takes a long time to prepare the sd card as it looks for errors in the sd card.please fix this bug. hoping light elf 2.1 is going to be a nuch morebetter rom.

Sorry i 4got to unmark the usb debug mode to get my usb mass storage properly...now its working fine after unmarking it...thank you so much for such an excellent firmware...god bless you....hoping the next light version will be another blast.......all the best

Thank you for your good wishes I am almost done with 2.1 which will go public as 2.2 keep cool and stay tuned for the update coming very soon with the official ainol October 2012 kernel implemented no shady buggy stuff is meant to be included so please do not expect past 1.2ghz as the chip set is unstable past 1.2.

And for those wondering the performance on this next build is benching 8218 to 8410 on antutu out of the box also battery status is fixed and hdmi should have no more issues.

First public edition posted, please keep in mind this ROM is a hybrid designed to work with the latest ainol crystal aka ELF III tablet, I am simply creating reverse compatibility to work on the ELF II and Possibly Aurora II.

How to install
Method 1: Built in 3e Recovery

1. Copy the ROM zipfile to your MicroSD Card
2. Power off the Elf II and remove any usb or chargers
3. Press and hold Power button & the Volume down button at the same time. Hold for approx 6-10 sec then release.
4. In the Samsung 3e recovery you can move with the Volume down button, you can select with Power or Volume up
5. Select apply update from sdcard
6. Select light-elf-rom-file.zip
7. Wait for the update to alert you that install has finished
8. (Optional) Wipe/Data
9. Reboot the system
10. Enjoy the ROM!

Adding hotfix patch tomorrow to address small davlik issue and to disable preformannce options as they only cause issues.

I do have a question how can I get netflix to work as it keeps flashing then nothing will happen after. I tried to reinstalling the app but the same issue occurs. Any help will be grateful.
