was having major FC problems and unexpected power off crashes with my 4gb HDMI M701 running 2.1 and nothing seemed to fix it including resets etc
Took a big step and flashed some M701 2.1 firmware from the Haipad site - oh bum - it was the 2gb firmware - bricked!
Then I found your post - got the 20101221_nobluetooth_ec12_hy files and followed your lk.rom only workaround
What a star you are!
I now have a fully working and much faster tablet and its got market, youtube, google apps etc all working perfect

BTW I dont think its worth the hassle to try and install 2.2 for the alleged minimal changes - and I'm not even sure if a 2.2 rom for the 4gb version exists
