Easy fix is use your root explorer and delete Google search in system /apps also see if there's one in data/apps , reboot and download the one from the play store

I wasn't aware there was a location bug. Does it just not work at all?

GPS works, but the issue only seems to show up the the lock screen weather indicator, seems weather parser XML is the issue

I've tried to change Light levels(Automatic backlight>Light levels>Edit other levels) but when I hit "Save & apply"
it gives me FC.

Here's what I did go to light levels select custom

Then select screen dim level
Then this pops up and you can adjust the min brightness

It's not that good, bugs and more bugs to bad because its a nice looking ROM, to much work to improve it

Your present rom is stable enough with fixable bugs. all we need now is somebody create a kernel that has a good battery life, good deep sleep and fast charged....I am very thankful for you, sharing your rom.

We need some kernel tweaks for sure, I'm going to try another port of a 4.2 ROM after I get some shut eye. Maybe some else could start porting too, I have to many ROMs now, 5 in the development threads and 3 which I never released and will not release
Also a side note location access for any 4.1.2 ROM is an problem, seems yahoo has ended there free api weather service, that's why we have no weather data on our lock screen

I have definite battery issues. Won't charge past 92% even when off and battery dies at 50%. Reverted to stock and battery fine. Battery also fine on slim beanz. Back to this ROM and the other paranoid ROM and battery issue is back!!

I'm back on stock for stability for the time being.

Was it also there with cm10 or cm10.1?
The only missing item is the apk nvCPLsvc.apk, testing the paranoid ROM with it, also could be gps looking for a signal constantly, so I also have turned it off.

Cant confirm it on cm because I never had it on long enough because it was buggy. Only noticed it on paranoid because I was using it as a daily driver.
