i get the following error installing the lk.rom in my hw 701-t

How i did it:

1* install the VTC driver (for XP)

2* open FWDN Make it empty (if it was not)

3* than Drag the Ik.rom, splash.rom and app.rom into FWDN

4* Connect your Tablet with the USB, and it will be recognized and the driver install will pop up.

5* in the FWDN the NAND data on the right is displayed and press it

6* a new screen appears and press create image, success, ok.

7* in the lower box select "LOW FORMAT WHOLE MEMORY BEFORE DOWNLOAD" ignore the warning.

8* Start! ignore warnings and errors, at the end there must be "Download session complete"

9* have fun with your android 2.2!

Firmware Version: 2.2
Kernel version: 2.6.32.9 #380
Build number: Ver 2.2.0128.20101215-161747
Model Number: Android for S22E (Was Android for S22 before flashing)

I think it's still Android 2.1. Anyway, I found that this rom is faster, and the keyboard is a lot more accurate. For the software part, the google chinese keyboard is gone.

Leaving:
-a note taking program-
-a game
-Chinese translated Launcher pro to customize desktop
-ES File Explorer and Task Manager
-Touchscreen calibration tools
-Gallery 3D

I flashed my tablet using Windows Vista. If I not mistaken, the error that you are having is because FWDN does not detect the tablet. You need to run the FWDN (Without click Start) and power on the tablet. The right hand panel will change to NAND. After that, press 'Start' and start the flashing process. I do notice the same behavior as mentioned as BernHardN, which is need to repeatedly pressing the power button to keep the tablet power on throughout the flashing process.
