A few minutes ago, I had a similar problem. The only solution was to connect the charger.
Hello Legionnaire,
today i also try it with connected charger. I am trying to flash my pad in the internet cafe cause i am on vacation. They have windows xp on he pcs.
Also i buy a cable but it is a usb y cable. Maybe that is the problem? I cant get in recovery modus the computer dont give any alert about new devices...

Ask internet cafe administrator for help with driver installation. In most cases guests do not have administrator permission, and because of that you can not install the driver correctly.

1. Make applications/data backup with Titanium Backup app form the market
2. Install Build 5.1
3. Restore applications and data.

I'd like to ask, is it possible to use 3G dongle with this rom?
I have a ZTE-MF100, if i plug it in, the system recognizes and i can choose network and apn-s,
but somehow not connecting to the internet.
Already tried with different setup, but those are 100% correct, with no succes.
When i'm looking the output of dmesg it recognizes the device well, and assigns to the usb0 usb1 usb2 devs.
Maybe it could be the problem, the three interfaces? The first is ztemodem, second ztediag, third is zteatcommands.
Anyone had any luck with 3g sticks yet?

i have viewpad 10s, and i already upgrade use Viewcomb 3.2. and i have wifi connection at home. my phone, my notebook, my pc, its very easy using the wifi. but for my viewpad, its very hard, its already connect to viewpad, signal very strong, but i can't connect to internet. this problem since i bought my viewpad and before i'm upgrade to viewcomb 3.2. my thinking, if i upgrade, the problem solve. but until now, it can't. ( just information, i'm not yet try wifi from another hotspot ). please help, whats the problem? hardware?

Hi, i did all what youbtold me even buy new usb cable still not enter to recovery mode.
So i can't update from sd card? I can download viewcomb to sd and use update tool?

I don't want to interfere, but i think you should keep trying to enter recovery mode.
Also i had to try it many times, sometimes like 8-10!!
My advise is:
1. Open Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Computer Management, and in that click on Device Manager.
2. Double click the clock on the right-lower corner of the desktop, so you can see the seconds.
3. Watch the clock, and try with 1sec beetwen the steps. (Back btn|1s|Power btn|1s|Pwr btn release|1s|Back btn release)
In case the screen is switching on, push the power button until it shuts off. Don't wait for boot up or anything.
If you did it alright you should see a new device appearing in the device manager something like ANX or APX,
i cant remember.
Unfortunately if you have stock rom, then you cant upgrade to a modded from the settings menu.
I plug USB stik, open Shuttle Tools and enable host mode.... but... I don't know how explore stick!

Unfortunately, I have no experience with the 3G stick. ​My friend was able to use Huawei 3g stick. I will ask him to describe here the procedure.[FONT=arial, sans-serif]

Check your router, try changing the channel to 6 instead of 12/13.

You can not update from sd card, because needs to resize the system partition.

- open mnt folder
- open usb folder
- open system_usb folder
