hi everyone was just wondering if there is a slight chance there will be a 7.3 build with netflix fix and wifi sleep mode issue where it appears as connected but stays bugged til you reboot. the quick fix is to disconnect wifi before you put in sleep mode then you can reactivate it with no bugs. dont get me wrong great build and i would donate gladlyfor it to continue receiving updates cause i know how much work it involves. thanks again legionnaire

Hi n4d3k1ng,

I am using WiFi Keep Alive, it does allow my 10s to "sleep" better and most of the time when it wakes up, it can still connect to the WiFi as along as the WiFi connection is not interrupted.

Sorry if this has been asked before (I must of missed it if it was)

Everytime I open the maps app and open the keyboard to type a destination, minute I type a letter my 10s reboots.
Any idea?

I have reflashed it twice!
bug or just my tablet?
If I use google maps on web it does not crash.

any ideas?

And I not bothered too much about 7.3 ROM, as current one works even my 3G with orange sim is great!

Hi

installed Viewcomb 7.2, works good but: i can not boot to CWM... tablet just restarts and reboots. Another strange thing is that i can not get connected via ADB, tried VegaTools and AUDI und Win 7 32bit and 64bit, NV-Flash fine, ADB no device found... when i look to explorer i see SD-Card of the Viewpad but on the Tablet "USB-Strorage" is not clicked... so i can´t flash cwm again... so no NAND-Backup....

does someone have an idea how to fix it?!

Hi there,

First of all, great work. You've helped turn water into wine, Legionnaire.

Just bought my 10S with 3G / WIFI and the upgrade to viewcomb 3.2 build 7.2 went very smoothly indeed.

Google maps (up to date) does crash everytime, without fail, and viewComb reboots almost immediately after the crash.

I have not had a chance to check 3G / GPS yet, can anyone share their experience with this? (I cannot see a dialer ..

Prior to the update, i did check 3G with the stock firmware.. my sim did register and i was able to call the viewpad 10s, but could not hear a thing. I could not initiate a call though, since there was no dialler..

Anyway, if anyone has experience with 3G / GPS on this devide (the 3G version, of course), please send me a message!

I got my viewpad10s model vs14006 (wifi).. Android Version :3.2, Buildnumber:7.2
It have error
"Error downlaoding "Google Play"
Update for "Google Play" could not be download due to an error. (941)
can anyone tell me what is wrong or what should i do?

Can this device be install with WhatsApp? If yes how to go about it?

Hi there ^^
i finally tried the 7.2 version but theres still the same problem with my touchscreen, if i draw a line on the painting app, it shows the problem, the line is broken several times.
i dont know if its possible to fix, shuttle tools does not have any effekt.
i hope theres help out there ^^ or someone with the same problem.
im still using the 6.3 now works fine except this little problem.

hey everyone!
so, i'm having that issue a lot of posters had already where there google play store was force closing. well, i'm having the same issue. i have already tried every solution in this forum, including uninstalling the updates, clearing the data, and manual installs of both the play store version linked in this forum, and the current version 3.8.17, all done in different combinations of order.

i also tried pulling my hair out, and that didnt work either. anyone have any ideas? i'm on viewcomb 3.2 build 7.2.

does anybody has a working tun.ko for the latest viewcomb release of legionaire ?? (v3.2 build 7.2) ??
I woukd urgently need it for my companies VPN network... I'm pretty new to tablets and the compiling thing isn't working ...

also I can't figure out how to connect my cellphone via bluetooth and use it to connect to the internet (my tablet ist only wifi without 3G). I can pair it but ther is no ceonnection. My cellphone works perfect with my laptop (samsung b2100).

Has anybody ever tried a eduroam connection ?? Working ??

This is the most stable ROM that exists for ViewPad 10s. ViewCOMB 3.2 is based on VegaComb 3.2, including all updates. My idea was to adapt VegaComb for ViewPad 10S. I made few cosmetics changes on VegaComb, added some applications, and made some tweaks in kernel. All credits go to the VegaComb developers. Thanks to Newbe5, Rebel1, Ejtagle, Corvus, Cass67 and all VegaComb developers.

Installation

First install USB driver for ViewPad 10s. Download driver: ViewPad 10s USB driver
Step-by-step instructions for driver installation: PDF
Open PDF file, go to the page 4, follow instructions from step 1. to step 8. Close PDF when you done step 8.

If you are sure you installed driver correctly, download file ViewCOMB 3.2 and double click on it. Wait few minutes to finish installation process, then turn on your tablet.

That's it! Very simple and easy.
