Slow charging

My device is only charging very slowly. This has been a problem since new except when using the genuine Samsung charger which has always given a quick charge. Now even that has gone on a go slow and I have no idea why. From a 10% charge to full takes over 12 hours even with the device shut down.

Any ideas where to start looking for a solution would be appreciated.

Unless I'm missing something the only thing I can suggest would be to get a new charger. It is very possible the charger has lost the ability to charge with the correct volts/amps. Look at the markings on the Samsung charger to be certain you get one with the same specs.
