Slow laggy keyboard on Coby 7022?

Does anybody else have these problems? No matter what keyboard I use (Default android keyboard, Gingerbread Keyboard from market) the keyboard is so laggy. I have turned off auto correct, dictionary, key pop and all that jazz but it still seems like its so laggy.

I also recently experienced a problem where I type two letters and the keyboard closes then deletes the letters. Really annoying went ahead and cleared keyboard data and fixed it but the thing is still so laggy.


Any tips or fixes out there?

I use the Hacker's Keyboard cause i do allot of remote desktop an stuff. Its like a normal keyboard with the numbers at the top. You can download from this link look for slow download > http://www.filefat.com/slfw6i168beg
