Anyway, contrary to what is believed in a couple of old threads here, the 9762 is not an international edition of the 9742, nor is it a variant of the 9760. It is its own dual-core Amlogic AML8726-MX MID with a TFT display screen. It is equivalent to the Pendo PNDPP4MT9G3, whose user manual is available here :

Addendum :
1. The user manual of the Coby variant and a teardown are available via the FCC here :
FCC ID S7IMID9762 Mobile Internet Device by Coby Communications Ltd.
While I'm at it, answers for some other old threads ...
2. Yes, there is a bug whereby this MID may eventually show a 100% battery state, regardless of its actual charge. I've had two units do this. The battery and its charging circuit are still working normally, it's just the state-of-charge that goes haywire.
3. Yes, there is a problem using the camera with Skype, it only works for the rear (forward facing) camera. Apparently there are other Android MID's that have this problem with Skype. Seems a stupid bug in Skype refusing to use the lower resolution camera even when you tell it to. None of the suggested fixes work with this MID.
