Sumvision Cyclone Voyager 2 bricked?

Hi, I've bought one of the above tablets.
It came with 4.1 installed and is upgradeable to 4.2
I downloaded the 4.2 update from the Sumvision website and followed the instruction on how to do it.
It was going well until it got to the end and it said it had failed.
Now the tablet turns on but wont go passed the main 'splash screen'
I sometimes get the image of the droid on his back with the red exclamation mark.
I've tried the redet button - but no difference

Is it bricked or is there a way to completely factory reset it?
