Tablet Fails To Recognise Micro SD Chip

Hey Pete, we're still here.

How are you taking the screenshots, and are you still using your Baun tablet?

Hi again PC,
yep still the Baun. Amazing service from it, as opposed to most of the negative threads
So, screenshots are being taken from the little screenshot logo I have bottom left of screen in the 'taskbar' panel panel
They then translate to pics under 'camera' but are just black but need deleting all the same.
So there's a disconnect somewhere. component breakdown?
something to do with internal usb always having very limited storage space left?
The grand Spider defers to your knowledge in this matter.

LOL... Blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while.

Do you have the same black screen pic when you take the screenshot with the "power button/volume down" method?

I've got the same button on my Hisense. Try changing the save location under settings, then restart.

do not understand 'power button/vol down' method , tho I've seen it mentioned in threads.
do not have a vol button
or is it also the power button?
when I press it, it only gives options for OFF, Silent Mode, airplane Mode
even taking a screen shot with that button depressed, still gives me a non pic

going to settings, if I change option to ext usb, no pic (not even non pic) is transferred, if I choose int sd or Nand flash options, I get a non pic showing up as Camera in my Gallery Albums as per usual, which has to be deleted

Really happy that Spider likes my blind squirrel analogy, but I guess this isn't one of those times.

I'm stumped here.

W/O a physical volume button, the traditional screenshot method can't be done.

I'm still working on it though...

Thanks PC
volume is a digital control within screen and not a physical button
only physical buttons are on/off and refresh
