Uninstall Apps in Extras

Since I rooted my Stock 1.1.0 I now have several apps in "Extras" that I'll never use. Things like Crossword, Chess, Sodoku and others. Is there a way to uninstall or remove them? I have Root Explorer installed, so I suppose I could just delete the .apk files, but from my experience in the Windows world I'd imagine there is more to uninstalling an app than just that.

If I can't uninstall them, is there at least a way to hide them in the "Extras" screen?

I'm with you... I don't even want to see those boring icons in my app drower besides nobusing the apps .H opefully somebody knows how to get rid of them

Try this...

Go to Settings

Click Applications

Click Manage Applications

Click on App you want to delete

Click uninstall

Works for most roms.
