can any one upload the update.zip ... you will find it when you update the tablet and dont restart the tablet ...you should find it in the path /cache/ULI ... but dont restart the tablet ... copy it and upload ... still didnt get the update yet

The overlapping is not as bad now. The dimness of the lock pattern remains the same and I think it is related to the dimness of the"categories" on my homepage i.e. apps, favorites, recently downloaded, utilities, etc. The voice input does not work, except for the first letter of the first word. I think I got a bad update- way too many problems.

My wife and I both got our update notifications and did it. So far we're in agreement that this update is *very* nice. Screen seems more responsive. I think I do like the launcher much more than the old one.

Is it pretty much the stock Honeycomb launcher or did Vizio skin it quite a bit?

it doesnt have the homescreen goes straight to app drawer it does have on screen keys and the status bar has been moved to the bottom and the settings screen is different.

Sounds like it is similar to they way it was before but with the Honeycomb softkeys and status bar. Also sounds like an alternate home launcher is needed for the tablet experience. Obviously there are other tablet optimizations in Honeycomb too which sound like they are making it run better.

Anybody tried side loading a home launcher to see if it can be done without root?

In settings go to about device and there should be a vizio update service, just choose that and follow instructions

I found in the market " ICS 4.0 Launcher it works and I can choose a wallpaper from the gallery but a reboot is required to make it show up.

It is not an instant rollout, not everybody is getting it at the same time. (Keeps update server from overloading) When we go to update service, it still states no updates available. It might be a few days till it is available to everybody.

Unable to connect to PC, does not see all folders on sd card. I put sd card in PC and was able to view all folders and files. Any ideas on connecting to pc?

I like that they put the status and such on the bottom. I am old, and my neck gets stiff always looking up
