By the way, I found the S7 in my BestBuy...it was HARD to find. At some point I should head over to the S7 forum and tell them what I honestly think of the device (honestly, I thought it was pretty nice).

Nook = 3923 posts -- Post rate since last update = (3923 - 2806)/7 = 160 posts/day
Archos = 1722 posts -- Post rate since last update = (1722 -1618)/7 = 15 posts/day
Samsung = 779 posts -- Post rate since last update = (779 - 723)/7 = 8 posts/day

160 posts per day?!?!?!?! I don't know if this is sustainable, but at this rate we'll be the number one forum in just over 2 weeks. Wow. I'm sure if we keep hearing about Honeycomb and Gingerbread and maybe even Froyo on the Nook, 160 posts a day can happen.

I think we should also consider that a lot of the nook talk happens on the XDA forum (that's where most of the magic happens) which for the S7 is only 300ish total posts and for the nook color is over 24,000 posts.

The NC is much more popular in my opinion. As more people see the potential I think this section will continue to grow.

Talk about really being an active community Even if we don't sustain that exact pace, all we need is to catch Huawei. I believe from there on out we will continue to pull away even if more slowly than the pace at which we caught up.

I'd like to see the units sold for each device if anybody can find estimates of those. My suspicion is that the Huawei is going to taper off while the NC sales will continue to grow rapdily for a few more months (stocking issues aside). That will really make a difference in postings as one device gets into more hands and the other becomes more difficult to buy.

Yeah, I am just so excited for the little ereader that could. No need to update more frequently, I check the forums board compulsivley enough. Especially to see when we were going to reach this milestone.

Well, I suck at basic math, but my intuition is we're building speed each week. If I'm feeling especially geeky, I may go back through the previous weeks, and use the data to create a line-chart that tracks our weekly progress.
