WiFi connection failure

I have just purchased a tablet 7" called MID (?) made in China. When I first got it I was able to setup with wifi through my router. I had to do a reset and now even with my password entered it will not connect. any ideas what I may not be doing correctly?

Does your tablet see the available wifi spots?

Make sure wifi is turned on.

Yes it does see it, I put in my password and it just tries and then disconnects. I do have other wireless devices working so I know the system is working.

I meant make sure wifi is on on your tablet. Sometimes a factory reset turns wifi off without turning off the scanning option. If that doesn't work and you have the original fw (some vendors will provide it), start from scratch.
