Wifi won't turn on

Title sums it up nicely. Received my new CobaltTab S1000 today and let it fully charge, turned it on and went to enable wifi. I select 'on' and it says "Turning WiFi On..." then just sits there to no avail. I have done the whole reboot, reset, factory defaults, etc... Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

My only suggestion is to return it for an exchange for one that works.
