Zenithink tablet can Android recognize external dvd drives to watch/Display movies?

I have a Zenithink tablet, Android ICS. I have a standard USB external DVD drive. If I simply wanted to watch DVD's is there any way to get the tablet to recognize the drive so i can play normal DVD's?

Hi BlackFireNova. The external drive would have to be a externally powered unit as the tablet itself would not have enough power to run the drive. You'll need Nexus Media Importer to run that external drive, it's free from Google Play. Apart from that I can't see any problems as your tablet has a full sized USB port. Good luck!
