Amazon Free App of the Day

BTW, I will be requiring an advance, shortly

OK by me, but you'll have to check with JP. Between the IRS and buying "Happy, The Bear's Awake Day" decorations thanks to you, I won't be able to afford it for a while.

Well we have a bear hunting season, which means cubs sometimes get orphaned. Here is a pic from a couple years ago.

That's nice of them to adopt the cubs.. ..now you awoke my curiosity JB! In a couple of days I'll know everything about bears! Hope the other one in the pic is not eating your honey !

SkinnyNote Notepad is the 4/10 app.

Skinny Note is easy to use, fun, and perfect for your everyday needs! Use Skinny Note as a smart notepad and diary, to create text notes, draw notes, and check-lists (to-do lists, shopping lists, reminder lists...). Set up password-protection, filter your notes based on color and/or type, and search for specific notes. You can also set up reminders for specific notes, categorize your notes, and email them to your friends and family!

Very basic notepad. You probably already have a better one. You can test drive it on your pc. That will give you a better idea.

ChromaSphere is the 4/11 app.

ChromaSphere is a full 3d action/arcade game with a hint of puzzle for Android 2.1+ devices and Kindle Fire. Using the accelerometer/gyro of your phone or tablet steer the chromasphere to the end of the level within the bronze, silver and gold times to win medals. If you love games like Marble Madness or Super Monkey Ball you'll love this!

If you like roller ball type games, there is no reason to think you won't like this one. there were a couple of "Worst game ever!" reviews, but you figure they are probably from frustrated people that can't manipulate the ball where it needs to go. Otherwise it got pretty good reviews. Watch the video.

Stocktile is the 4/12 app.

Using colored tiles, now you have a different way to organize the stock tickers that you care about. No more packs of smalls numbers crammed together in your device. No more loads of data that you are not interested in. Stocktile is the simplest stock watcher application on the Amazon App Store. Just what you need in front of you. Period.

Shred Guitar Mastery is the 4/13 app.

Practice, learn, have fun, play along with the backing tracks or improvise. This is the first Android application that aims at making you become the best guitar player you can be. This app will guide you to develop your full potential. With carefully selected short and very cool licks you will be practicing to unlock all your abilities. These are not boring exercises, they are impressive, challenging and rewarding licks that you can incorporate into your personal style as soon as possible. Even if you are not a rock guitarist you will greatly benefit from this.

I took a snow day yesterday.

If you want to learn to play a guitar, and you have a guitar to learn on. this looks like a pretty good app.

I took a snow day yesterday.

You won't need to take a snow day today, but you might need a canoe. The 18" of snow in ND is supposed to be all rain when it gets to you. Make sure Tiki wears her raincoat.
