iMarble Marble Solitaire Pro is the 1/29 app.

It is similar to the Card Solitaire game that is played alone and involves removing cards one by one. Here you need to remove marbles or pegs or other small objects.

You can remove a marble from the board by jumping an adjacent marble over it into a hole by moving it horizontally or vertically. Diagonal moves are not allowed.

Consecutive moves with the same marble is called a sweep and is counted as one move. You should try to solve the board in minimum number of moves to get a higher score.
 
You won't lose your marbles when you play this game. Finally something worth downloading. NO PERMISSIONS! These are games you have been playing since you were a kid. There are a bunch of different ways to customize the boards.
 
Low Light is the 1/30 app.

Low Light extends screen brightness settings into the lower range. Low brightness is easier on the eyes in dark environment and saves battery life. With Low Light, you can schedule brightness changes at two times of day. "Start At Boot" option allows to keep Low Light running and your scheduled events active.
 
Star Command is the 1/31 app.

This app currently has more 1 star reviews than all of the other ratings combined and here is why;

  • Application Permissions: (Help me understand what permissions mean)
    • Read only access to phone state
    • Request authtokens from the AccountManager
    • Open network sockets
    • Write to external storage
    • Access the list of accounts in the Accounts Service
    • Access information about networks
  • I had to look up what an Auth Token is. It aint pretty;
  • What is the Auth Token?

    Twilio uses two credentials to determine which account an API request is coming from. The &#8220;Account SID&#8221;, which acts as a username, and the &#8220;Auth Token&#8221; which acts as a password.
    If another user gets access to your Auth Token, and he or she knows your Account SID, they will have the ability to use the Twilio API as if they were you. That means they can make calls or send messages coming from your phone numbers, download your account logs, and change the URL settings of your Twilio phone numbers. Keep your Auth Token private, and if you share your code publicly make sure to remove your Auth Token.
 
It is getting pretty discouraging that Amazon is offering so many apps as FAOTD the require all these unnecessary permissions.
