Amazon Free App of the Day

CrossMe is the 5/23 app.

Cross Me is a Japanese crossword known as a Nonogram. The objective is to discover a hidden image by marking cells or leaving them blank, according to the numbers displayed on the side of the grid.

Facing a grid of cells, you will carefully determine which cells to mark and which to leave empty. The darkened cells will begin to take shape and reveal an image.

I haven't tried it beyond the demo but I am looking forward to playing with this one when I have some time. Nobody hold their breath though, I don't want you passing out >>>>>>>>>

How about reviewing the app, that's what you're getting paid for. Would your granddaughter like it?

Well it is for ages 2-10 so that's the right range. I was going to get her a kids tablet for her birthday, but her mom said it was okay to get her a regular one. She wants it to havce Amazon Unbox, though, which I have no idea why. From what I could tell there is not anything special about it. Maybe a Kindle Fire?

The Kindle Fire sounds like it would be just right for her.

Homerun Battle 3D is the 5/30 app.

You're on deck! Are you prepared to go head-to-head with more than ten million big sluggers in Homerun Battle 3D? The incredible graphics, realistic sound effects, and real competition will make you feel like you've joined the big leagues. Take a couple of practice swings because you're about to step up to the plate.

I will compare it with the Color Nook, which people on here seem to like.

You owe JP for yesterday's review. :)

What have we said about games that require you to pay money after you get it? Forgetaboutit!

Thanks for catching that JB, I edited to the post to warn people about that. When I first posted it I somehow missed it. You certainly earned your pay today.;)

Clown Ball is the 5/31 app.

Fans of marble rolling games like Super Monkey Ball, Labyrinth, and Neverball will love Clown Ball with its fantastic tilt controls. If you enjoy playing marble maze or marble labyrinth games you've got to give it a try. You'll be tickled pink.

I kinda like this one. Sounds like it doesn't work real well on some tablets.

Score It (Word) is the 6/1 app.

Show your word power with Score It (Word), a challenging word game. Stimulate your brain while having fun. Score It (Word) is a great way to improve word building skills that you can apply to many other word games.

The object of the game is to guess the word from the first given letter. After each guess, a letter is placed in the word that is in the correct position. Any letter in the red ball is in the word but not in the correct position. If an invalid word is entered, you lose a turn, and the word is displayed in red. When you run out of time, the answer is displayed.
