Gallop for Gold Slots is the 7/30 app.

Beat the bookie and share the fun in Gallop for Gold Slots. Can your horse win all 48 trophies and become the super-champion? It's possible with the Nudge Jackpot and six unique bookie bonuses in the feature bonus round.

If you like video poker, this might be an okay game. If you runout of the free money, you start with $2000, I think you can do actual betting, but I did not stay with it long enough to find out. I am not a fan of gambling and am therefore not a fan of this app.

AppDads Coloring Expansion is the 7/31 app.

AppDads Coloring Expansion is an add-on package for the AppDads Coloring application (available in the Amazon Appstore). This expansion is installed as a standalone application giving you the standard free capabilities of the original app, but with an additional coloring package and enhanced drawing modes. I haven't downloaded this yet as I am not a huge Mahjong fan but it looks like fun. One of the reviewers that gave it 1 star said they did that because it was just a matching game. Well Duh! Isn't that what Mahjong is?

Woot Deal Of The Day today is a 32 GB Sony S with cradle for $260! That is a good deal!

Fruit Fling is the 8/4 app.

Sinister things are happening in Mysteryville: all the cats have disappeared from this little town. Young journalist Laura Winner starts to investigate this odd crime. Using her wits and courage she becomes a true detective and starts to discover all of Mysteryville's secrets.

It was a strange mixture of reviews. Some people loved it. Some said that to get past level 3 you needed to upgrade (not a full version?) and some said it was racist. If my wife downloads it, I will let you know what she says, but I avoid hidden object games as much as possible. :)

Battleship Pro is the 8/9 app.

Set sails and start your battle versus Ted, James and Hans where Ted is the rookie making a lot of mistakes, James is the intermediate guy and Hans... well Hans is Hans! The good old well known pen and paper battlship gameplay is nicely enhanced with hexagonal fields and features which offer a lot of tactical possibilities.

I'd love to leave a review, but am too busy playing Battleship Pro! One of my favorite games. Instead of squares, it has hexagonal cells so you place you ship horizontally or at an angle. Choose the size of your fleet. Choose your level of competition. Choose whether to set your fleet manually or at random. No ads. No excessive permissions. No OpenFeint. The only 1 star review said that the controls are honky (They are not) and thinks the computer cheats. Otherwise 25 of 29 reviews were 4 or 5 stars. This thing even makes fun of my misses, like my oldest brother used to! :)

Now leave me alone while I develop the perfect strategy to blow those enemy ships right out of the water!

Sounds like a review to me and a good one at that.
