Amazon Free App of the Day

Hey, you are looking at a guy that used to sell free encyclopedias.

They must have been easy to sell if they were free. I remember they gave you the first volume free, and you were supposed to buy the rest of the set. We never bought the rest, but we had a big box full of first volumes on our attic. To this day I'm pretty much an expert on everything from aardvarks to azaleas.:)

I installed the Amazon store on my new tablet, which I hadn't install yet, just to get the battleship app! I love this game,I always did and probably is the only one I like.......I lost though on my first:-( ....I guess because I haven't played in a while! Great app!

Ichi is the 8/10 app.

Ichi is an easy to play but challenging one button puzzle game. Don't be deceived by the game simplistic look, it’s a braintwister for sure! Collect golden rings by rotating objects, using teleporters, breaking blocks and more. If that isn’t enough, the game includes a level editor that allows you to create your own levels and share them with anyone around the globe!

No you got the set free but had to pay for the reference service. I quit after two weeks and was the only one to have sold a set at that time. The boss was a real jerk. If someone didn't buy he would demean them. He dropped us off once in a retirement area where solicitation was illegal. Problem was, I sold the set my first day out, so I thought it would be a snap. The next morning I got a call from a printing company with a job offer for the summer. Shoulda taken it.

Okay time to earn my keep. FAOTD has 4 1/2 stars. The only 1 star rating said it did not work with CM9. Didn't try it, but it looks like a fun game.

Gloria, glad you like it too! I think that means triple payment is in order.

Rain App is the 8/11 app.

Rain App turns your device into a skylight on a rainy day. Clouds gently glide as raindrops fall and splatter on your screen. It’s a relaxing, tranquil experience that feels as if you’re holding a living window in your hands.

Is it just me, or would that be a bit depressing if you are in a drought stricken area?

Jb is right,.I hate to watch raindrops splattering on my windows.....not going to look at raindrops splattering on my screen! I guess nobody is going to review this app!:-D

PopStar! is the 8/12 app.

How to Play:

- Just tap two or more blocks of the same color.
- There is no time limit, but each stage has target points to proceed to next stage.
